I Will Always Love You

In remembrance of Whitney Houston’s life, I have been playing her songs for the last couple of hours.  “I Will Always Love You” recently played, and listening to that song now, it can be interpreted a completely different way.  It’s about saying goodbye to someone you love.  Now it can be interpreted to say goodbye to her fans.

Dolly Parton written it in 1973, but Whitney made it so much better.  according to Wikipedia, Whitney was originally supposed to record “What Becomes of The Broken Hearted” originally by Jimmy Ruffin for the soundtrack to “The Bodyguard” but the song was already featured in “Fried Green Tomatoes.” Thank God for “Fried Green Tomatoes” lol.  I don’t think the soundtrack for “The Bodyguard” would be a smash if it weren’t for “I Will Always Love You”
